What is a needle exchange program? What are the benefits? Why exchange needles?

Needle exchange is NOW available at NEON's Health Night, 5PM - 7PM. Say hello to our Peer Educators in person and while you're there... get tested for HIV/STI for FREE! Appointments are 5pm and 6pm. Please call 206.323.1768 to schedule, or walk-ins available at 6pm.

One-for-one needle exchange is legal and widely available in Seattle/King County. In addition to exchanging needles, you can also get free cottons, cookers, ties, alcohol pads, and lots of safer injecting tips. You can also pick up condoms, lube, and referrals to local healthcare, social service and treatment programs.
